Product Description
"Dianes Special" - The perfect lap frame for cross stitch work as it allows you to view the underside of the hoop with ease.
This new and improved model of our Flip Up Frame has a wider range of adjustments for your comfort:
- Height adjustment
- Flips up, down and now side to side
- Adjustment bolt has been relocated to the side of the frame
- Multiple size hoops and frames may be installed into this frame. (8", 10",12" round or 12" square Also our new Applique Table Top)
This frame is perfect for small quilt blocks, needlepoint, embroidery, cross stitch and many other forms of needle arts or hooking.
Bean Bag Base seems to be the best choice for this particular frame.

Worth the wait! This frame is stable, beautiful and for me, it makes stitching a piece of cake. I love that I can reposition my fabric so that my stitch looks really beautiful. Worth every penny. It will be an heirloom in our family!

Well worth the wait!
I've never been a fan of sit-on or lap stands. I wanted something to clamp onto my table. So, Harry suggested he mount the 12" square hoop onto his applique stand base. How right he was. I absolutely love it.
This is NOT one of those slap together flimsy plywood stands with staples that last six months.....if you're lucky. It's sturdy, perfectly engineered and beautiful. It's a work of art to be passed down for generations.
Harry's craftsmanship and customer service are first rate.

I purchased the Diane's Special Cross Stitch Flip Frame with the 12" square hoop. I just love it. I can use both hands which helps in making my stitches nice and flat. The square frame gives me a larger work area and being able to flip the frame up to check my work is an added bonus. I can use this for cross stitch or quilts. Great engineering and a joy to use.

Unusually fine artistry combined with extraordinary engineering

I certainly expected to enjoy my new hoop, but the attention to detail (the sort of detail which really matters) exceeded all of my expectations. I really tried hard to consider anything that would improve this product, and gave up because the experience of using it was flawless.
It would be fun if the actual hoops came in different colors, but considering how much work already goes into the glass-smooth sanding and coating, colors would just extend the waiting time. As every one of these is made by the inventor (the kind of artisan al quality control that cannot be matched) I would hesitate before suggesting any cosmetic changes. They are already beautifully finished.
I ordered mine for hand embroidery, but have wondered if there is any reason that I cannot do some quilting on it as well.
Definitely worth the wait, if you are ordering this as a gift allow 2-3 months time as I don't know of anyone making a similar product and the demand is very high now that people have seen this wonderful tool.
As well, I think that this would travel well, and would love to have a case into which I could pack it (both for travel and storage).
My first project will be to do some embroidery on a scarf which I knitted for ny husband. I'm really looking forward to using this hoop and cannot thank Mr. Barnett enough for sharing his talent with us. While this was not inexpensive, I suspect that the price is extremely low for the quality of craftsmanship.
I love my hoop!!!

I ordered the Diane's Special Cross Stitch - Flip Frame / 10" Hoop and the Bean Bag Base I choose the Golden Oak.
I live in Canada and was very amazed at how fast I received my order. It only took about a month to receive my order.
I am so happy with the product it is very well made and the quality is just simply amazing and easy to use. I do alot of big cross stitch projects and this product has made life much easier to stitch without any body aches. I would recommend this to all cross stitchers as you will have the ability to use two hands while stitching - No need to hold the hoop anymore. I am also going to order the 12" hoop to fit in the frame as the come in different sizes. Thank You so much Harry I love the product and will be recommending it to all my friends and the cross stitch store I deal with as well in Calgary called "Traditional Stitching"

Hi Harry,
I received my new cross stitch setup and frames ! Wow!! They are just beautiful ! I've been cross stitching since I received it on Thursday, I'm so so impressed how it hoops allow you to flip over to knot at the back the craftsmanship is amazing what details wow!! I can't thank you enough! I'm so thrilled! I have been cross stitching for 20 years and I have finally found the perfect hoop! I just love the bean bag and love the fact it's interchangeable with my other frames - I actually prefer the beanbag versus the other sit on frame, you do amazing work and you can be sure I will pass the word on!! It was worth the wait!

I ordered this hoop and you won't find anything like it. It flips up and rotates to see your work. The quality is just the best. I also ordered the 14" hoop with the bean bag base. I have been quilting a quilt for my son and I needed a border hoop to finish the edges so I went to a local store and got one. The quality is so poor its put together with staples. Let me tell you, you may have to wait a little bit to get the hoop from Harry but it is so worth it. I will never buy anything but his products anything else you are just wasting your money. The great thing is he will stand behind anything he sells. He is so helpful and an honest man.

OMG I ordered the Dianne rotating hoop for cross stitching and it is the best. I also got the bean bag base and it works so nice with this hoop. The quality is the best and the nice thing is if you have a problem or question you can call Harry and how many companys will pick up the phone and actually talk to you. Harry will. God Bless you and your family for all the hard work and dedication that you put into these products.
