Barnett's Laptop Hoops

Magnetic conversion kit - Convert many other company's lap frames to work with my larger Floor Stand, Bean Bag or Sit-On Base designs.  Recently I have been getting many requests to convert rug hooking frames from other companies to work on the Floor Stand. This little wooden circle will attach to the bottom of the lap frame with 4 wood screws.  Once it is secured to the bottom of the frame you can use the magnetic connection to attach it to the Barnett's Floor Stand.

If you purchased your Original Barnett's Laptop Hoops frame before 08/15/2011 it does not have a magnetic bottom. This is the conversion kit for you. You can convert it into a magnetic model. Permanently mount a small plate with 4 screws to the base of your lap frame. This plate has the magnets installed for you to make the top lap frame removable. It's an easy conversion. Just 4 little screws. 

Keep in mind that these early lap frames are not made to the same high-quality standards as my current selections.  I used Edmunds hoops back in the day until I was so frustrated with the quality of the hoops.  I transitioned to making my own hoops sometime in 2011 or 2012.  I also changed up the quality of the plywood too and installed better hardware.  So, converting the "old" lap frames may be a quick and inexpensive solution it is not up to my current quality standards.  I personally would rather have you keep the old frame as is and invest in / treat yourself to a new one.

If you want the lap frame to be retrofitted with the magnets just send the lap frame back to me and I will add them in for the same price.  You must cover the cost of the shipping both ways.

Sit On Base not included and magnet amounts will vary depending on the size of your lap frame.  Email me with the size of your lap frame and a picture of the bottom.
