Often a large floral with many colors is the best place to start. Use it in large pieces and perhaps the border. Add an interesting background that creates interest on its own with a tonal design but serves as a backdrop for all the other prints in the quilt. Accent with a geometric print to "give the eye" visual refief from all the other prints in the quilt.
