Dowel adapter insert for DMC perle cotton spools. These cotton spools have a larger diameter center hole than the more commonly used thread spools. This little dowel apdapter will easily slide on to your existing thread caddly spool bolt, allowing you to hold the wider DMC perle cotton spools.

I added this item to my Thread Caddy and I am glad I did.. It is real handy to put thread on it.. I love my caddy, just got it.. It was worth the wait.. All my tools are in one place to embroidery or applique.. Thank You Harry for the great workmanship

I love having this added accessory for the larger spools of perle cotton. I love to sit on my patio and quilt, and it is so easy to just carry the thread caddy out with me as it has all my necessities in one place.

What wonderful craftsmanship. We emailed back and forth a couple times and Barnett's came up with this adapter for the perle cotton balls. The balls roll smoothly and it holds (2) of them which is great when hand stitching with multiple colors. The spool also comes off the bolt so you can use regular thread spools as well. What great customer service! Special orders don't upset them! Thanks so much for the custom work!
