Oval hoop for hand quilting and other needlework.
This 20" x 12" hoop is custom made by Barnett's Laptop Hoops for hand quilting. We steam bend these quilt hoops one at a time. It will take a few days to make, allowing the wood to dry completely before we glue the blocks and sand it to perfection. This is a high quality hoop - not your local craft store import hoop. You will love working with this on your hand quilting projects.

FINALLY a quilting hoop that fits my needs to a tee! I love how tight this hoop holds my quilts and how easy it is to tighten. My only regret now is that I do not own more than one!!! It was well worth the wait and truly a work of art.

Best quilting hoop on the market

I now own three of Barnett hoops - different sizes for different projects - and they are by far the best quilting hoops I have ever used and I have used many. I hand quilt and the these hoops hold the quilt better than any other allowing for faster and more accurate quilting.

The new hoops I ordered are beyond what I even expected. The perfect curves, the depth of the hoop, the ease of tightening, and the immaculate finish work far surpass even the best of other hoops I have owned over the years. After inspecting them, my husband said he now understood why I wanted them so much because they were well worth the wait!

Oval Hoop - Beautiful!

This oval hoop is wonderful to use. It's a perfect size and shape for bigger quilts; its sturdy and holds the fabric layers in place without crushing them. The depth of the hoop makes handling easier than expected and the handle to tighten it is easy to grip. On top of that, the craftsmanship is beautiful. Well worth the wait.

As an avid quilter of many years, I have used a number of different quilting hoop, both vintage and new. The one made for me by the Barnetts is by far the finest. The workmanship cannot be beaten and extra depth of the design is perfect. It is a great pleasure to use this hoop.
