Product Description
Barnett's Floor Stand Base - 2015's #1 item at Barnett's Laptop Hoops! This stand will work with all Original Design and Vented Frames.
Features:
- Adjustable Height - The floor stand has an adjustable height bar. The top frame will extend up to 38" in height. Find the ideal height for sitting in your favorite chair and set the height with one Easy Turn Knob and bolt.
- Tilts & Spins - It has the same features as our other models that tilt and spin. One oversized knob adjusts the angle of the frame and a lazy susan spinner controls the rotation.
- Removable - The top lap frame is removable since we have installed a magnetic plate that attaches to the lazy susan spinner.
- Interchangeable - The frame is interchangeable with any other size Original Design, Vented or Rug Hooking lap frames that we sell. Pop off the top frame and pop on another size. (Other sizes sold seperately.)
- NO TOOLS REQUIRED - The entire frame can be assembled or break down easily. In addition, it can fold up to a low profile for easy storage.

Fantastic floor stand! Fully adjustable for height and tilt. Sturdy and lightweight at the same time. Wonderfully smooth finish. I don’t feel the least bit bad about having this sitting out in my living room! It’s a beautiful piece of wood work!

I live in France, and despite the shipping costs and customs taxes, I chose Harry Barnett to buy my hoops and quilting looms! He's the best craftsman I know. His work is neat, each piece is handmade. His hoops are very strong and all fit on the various stands he manufactures. I recommend this craftsman.

Good things come to those who wait. How true this is in this circumstance. I LOVE my new 14" hoop and floorstand. The quality, ease of putting it together, ability to easily move it from one room to the next, the angles, hoop rotation (that's the best) and on and on. Each night when I sit at my hoop I am so grateful to Harry and what he has made for me. Thank you, Thank you!

How impressed I was with the product. You can see Mr. Barnett puts a lot of care into the making the floor base and hoops. He is very meticulous in the design and I love the oak stain on my stand and hoop. Very easy to set up, the directions were clear and concise and the stand and hoop are decorative enough to leave out.
He was quite courteous with regards to letting me know of his workload and there would be delays. He also sent emails on the status of where I now sat with regards to my order. All I can say it was worth the wait. Thank yu

Quilting Has Never Been So Good

I received the beautiful floor base, plus two hoops, and a sit stand, from Mr. Barnett in January 2022. I had ordered sometime in July in the previous year, and his website pointed out that with his workload, it might be a few months, but I saw other reviews and other folks said it was worth it. Well, why not. I love to quilt and got a pretty shoddy sit-frame from another dealer. It broke within a week. Mr. Barnett's purchase was so much more. The workmanship is solid, I love the red mahogany, and have already had opportunities to quilt I didn't have on my large quilt frame. I have a quilt in all hoops and I can move them around, even getting them out of the way when the grandchildren come. A big thanks from me for providing quality pieces. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the hoops/stands I received and I know two granddaughters who will be especially happy this Christmas. A big thanks from me.

I love the quality of the floor stand. I have not been quilting for very long and decided I wanted to start hand quilting, I bought the hoop with the lap beanbag, I found it too large for me, so I ordered the floor stand. I love it so much. It has made quilting for me so much easier. I have been telling all my Facebook groups about it and how much I love it.

This order was for a floor stand. It took sometime but so worth the wait. It is perfect! Easy to put together took about 5 minutes. It spins my hoop, it adjusts, the stain is lovely and it looks beautiful in my home Thank you so very much! I also purchased a 14 inch hoop. It is beautiful as well. It is light easy to handle and perfect for my hand quilting whether attached to the stand or on my lap. I am so happy.

I purchased the floor stand and the 14" square hoop and love working on them. I'm quilting a queen size quilt and the frame is beautiful, sturdy, and of excellent quality. I love working on it and am thrilled the way I can spin the quilt on the base to make it easier to stitch. For that reason, I am spending a lot more time quilting than I'd planned to. Maybe this quilt will get finished after all.

I love my new floor stand for my Barnett hoop. I have been using my Barnett hoop with the beanbag base for over a year. When I had a queen size quilt for hand quilting, I decided to get a floor stand as the quilt is heavy. I love having the floor stand for this large quilt. It is so sturdy and was easy to put together. I like that it will slide under my chair easily. I am so glad I ordered this for my large quilts!

Love my floor stand! Previously purchased a hoop with beanbag base but having the floor stand gives me the option of quilting on my lap or in a chair in front of the hoop. I have back and neck issues the ability to change positions make me more comfortable while quilting. Thanks Harry!

I have tried them all - Finally this is the BEST stand I have ever used. You are able to pull your frame/stand very close, adjusts up and down, tilts, need I say more. One word to describe "BEST" Well worth the wait.....

Harry produces by far the best hoops and stand I've ever used. They're both exceptionally easy to hold, adjust and tighten. I was born with only three fingers on each hand and very unstable joints, this hoop and stand have made my hobby much easier and I've only had them a few weeks. Thank you Harry Barnett!

I ordered my floor stand with the cherry finish and am so happy with it! I put it together in just a few minutes, with no help. I especially love how easy it makes handling a full size quilt. It is money well-spent..I only wish I'd bought it sooner!!

I've had a Barnett hoop for the longest time, and I finally ordered the floor stand base to go with the hoop. The stand was very easy for even my arthritic old fingers to assemble using the enclosed instructions and the online video. What a relief to have the weight of a queen size quilt off my lap and instead being held by the floor stand. I can adjust the height, and that makes quilting easier and so much more comfortable. No sore necks muscles, no aching arms. I love my floor stand base.

I love my new floorstand for my 14" square quilt hoop. It is well made, stable, and very easy to use. It adjusts easily and quickly and stays where I set it when I am sitting on the couch quilting. Well worth the money!

First, let me say I am an avid Harry Barnett fan. I own several of his products. My husband has always said that doing your work at the right height is essential. The floor stand is the answer to my new hand quilting skills. I just took a Hawaiian quilting class in Honolulu at the Iolani Palace presented by the Serrao family - Poakalani Quilting (Highly recommend if you are visiting there). The new quilt stand wonderful, adjustable, stable, sturdy, and beautiful. I can comfortably sit and quilt for hours with this new tool. So glad I ordered it. Though solid and sturdy, I can easily move it to a different room without any help if I want to quilt someplace other than my sewing room. Thank you, Harry. You're the best.

Hi Harry ; I just got the floor stand for my 18 inch square hoop & I love them both . I had a round hoop on a floor stand that my husband made me years ago & it worked great but I,m sure I will never need another with this one

I purchased a quilt hoop from Harry and decided a floor stand would complete the unit. WOW! What a difference. The workmanship is absolutely superb. The stand and hoop are worth the investment. I was a little leery about spending the money,but it is a purchase I will never regret. The wood is smooth, the directions to assemble the stand are clear. I can not say enough good things about Harry and his hoops. I had to e-mail Harry with a question and received a prompt reply. Great service and outstanding workmanship. The vented hoop and the swivel stand make quilting so much easier. Thank you.

I have had two Barnett laptop hoops and finally got the stand and WOW! It's nice to have the option of using the hoops either on my laptop, a table top, and now on the stand. Very versatile based on the project I am working on. Also very easy to assemble the stand.
