Custom Sign - "Rocky Nook" with Salt Rocks & Sea Gull
This custom sign was originally made for my wife. We hung it up in the house and then the neighbors all wanted one for the cottage or as a gift. So here is the first "Rocky Nook" sign with the silhouette of the Salt Rocks and a sea gull above. It has been finished with a black and white crackle finish and top coated with a clear satin poly. The dimensions are 44" X 8 1/4" and I recommend it to be hung inside the house.
I will make custom signs in just about any size and color on request. These are typically made when I have a free day in shop. Email me for a quote at laptophoops@comcast.net. I have a couple other examples shown here in the pictures.

Diving Service
Chain Replacement Dive - If you need a diver to replace your mooring chain in the Kingston Bay, I am the guy. If you are familiar with our bay, then you know about the mud. This mud makes the visibility for a diver extremely difficult. Once a mooring is located, any movement of the muddy bottom creates a zero visibility dive. Typically, I am diving to replace a chain that has been in use for a few years. I do not do inspection dives. If you think for any reason it needs an inspection, you might as well have it replaced. Trust me, when that Nor'easter Storm comes in, you will sleep a lot better at night knowing you have a new 1/2" chain installed. Your boat is worth a lot more than a couple hundred bucks for new chain and shackles and my dive fee.
Lost Mooring Dive - Locating a lost mooring is also extremely difficult and is not a guarantee that it can be located. Many times the visibility is less than 5 feet and mooring blocks become covered. I will do a complete search of the area you indicate. It definitely helps if you attend the dive on the boat or drop a marker float on the area prior to my dive. Many search and recovery dives will take between 45 minutes to an hour of underwater time. I will repeat, I can not guarantee a successful dive due to the muddy conditions.
All dives must be paid in full prior to diving.

Lobster bouys - 5 random bouys
Since I live along the Atlantic Ocean, I spend a lot of time walking and collecting the little treasures that wash up on its shores. I hang these beautiful bouys on a pole in my front yard and on occasion someone will offer to buy a few from me. Mooring Service - Spring
Spring Service late April and May
- Removal of Winter Stick.
- Replacement of any needed hardware excluding chain. (Replacement hardware, shackles, swivels,etc., billed seperately.)
- Clean up of ball, bottom painted and re-letter if needed.
- Clean pennant line.
- Shackles greased and rewired with copper.
- Gear reinstalled ready for your boat.
I will also advise you of the chain condition to the low water mark. If chain needs replacement I will advise.

Mooring Service - Winter
Winter Service late September ,October and November
- Removal of your mooring ball and pennant line.
- Replace mooring ball with a PVC winter stick that I provide at no extra charge.
- Storage of mooring equipment through the winter
- Notification of the condition of your mooring hardware for the following year.
Spring Services will be billed out when service has been completed. Spring services include power washing the ball and pennant lines, grease and replace copper on shackles, bottom painting of your ball, relettering and installation back on your mooring. ($50) Any additional equipment or services that may be needed, I will notify you first.
