This travel size frame is for the rug hooker or quilter that works the frame and hoop extra hard. The base is constructed the same as our other styles, but the hoop has been upgraded to a Barnett's Custom 12" Hoop. In addition we have upgraded the bolt to 6 inches for those extra thick projects. Easy turn knob is also included. You will never have to worry about overworking the frame. 

If for any reason, you should crack the hoop, I will replace it for free.

Please allow a few extra days for production.  I steam bend these hoops in my shop. This will produced on an as needed basis.

This Deluxe Thread Caddy / Sewing Center has a couple added features.  It has a 14" lazy Susan spinner allowing you to easily access many of your necessary items that you use while quilting or sewing.  The sewing center holds one of our smaller Thread Caddys in the center. (These are sold seperately in another listing and can be added to your purchase.)

The Lazy Susan Center will include an adjustable thread spool holder. It is mounted on the left hand side of the sewing center with a magnet to help keep it in place when not in use. On the opposite side we have a covered Junk box that is also attached to the Lazy Susan with a magnet. Two more magnets are mounted in the front of the Lazy Susan, allowing you to clip on a Tomato Pin Cushion and a small wooden pin dish. At the back of the sewing center it has a slotted block of wood that can hold up to three templates/rullers.  Behind the Template Block is a Drop Box for your rotary cutter and a couple pairs of scissors. On the back of this Drop Box is a large blank area.  Most quilters have told me this is the perfect spot to place to mount a thread catcher bag. ( I don't sew, so I leave this area blank for you to add your finishing touches. You could put hooks or velcro on this area to stick any other gadgets you want accessible.) This is an unfinished item, ready for stain or clear coat. I will have is sanded smooth and ready for you.

This version of the Barnett's Mini Thread Caddy holds the basics and a few extra goodies. Designed for a friend of mine (Nel), we tweaked the basic caddy together and added a few extra modifications.  To start, I added a magnet on the back to hold just about anything that sticks, such as a small pair of scissors as seen here.  A drop slot with a bolt will hold your thread spool and you can easily pull it out and run it across the Thread Heaven Conditioner.  Now pull your thread to the side and cut it in the little purple thread cutter.  What a great idea!!!  When you need to put your work away, store your needle on the tiny magnet next to the Thread Heaven an stick your thimbles on the two holders. Two deep holes have been drilled on the side for extra storage.  It's a great place to stick a seam ripper or marking pencil.   The round base has a small metal plate/washer on the bottom allowing it to clip on to our Lazy Susan Sewing Centers.

This little sewing chest was origiaally designed by one of my best friends for his daughter.  It was so cute, functional and well made, I have asked him to start making them for our websites customers.

This little desk threader will make threading your needles so much easier.  With a push of a button your needle is instantly threaded. This little tool works with a variety of oval eye needles from fine to thick: .51 - .89 mm.  It is not recommended for embroidery needles or needles that have a circular eye.  It also comes with a built in thread cutter.  This is a must have item for anyone who sews or quilts!  

This desk threader has been mounted to a small block of wood to make it stand up easier and to make it compatible with our Lazy Susan Storage Centers.

Once again, a facebook request has become a new item to be featured here at Barnett's Laptop Hoops, the Mini Thread Caddy with Thread Heaven.  This tiny caddy is designed as the "to go" caddy.  It is great to throw in a bag with your quilt and hoop and take to class or it can just sit on your lap as you sit quilting in your comfy chair. I am keeping this one as simple as possible. It will hold the larger YLI thread spools,(up to a 2" diameter and 3" long), that many of you use and it holds your little box of Thread Heaven.  A box of Thread Heaven will also be included with your purchase, a $3.89 value.  Additionally, I have installed a tiny magnet to hold your pre-threaded needles. A small metal plate is also installed on the bottom to make it compatible with our Lazy Susan Storage Centers. This little plate will stick to the magnets on the Lazy Susan Center.

This Custom Order is available for anyone else to purchase. You can thank Tanya on facebook for the inspiration.  She wanted a small draw to store extra needles, notions and her Aunt Becky Tool. Well, I try to keep my customers happy and this is what we made.  I also installed a spoon holder for her T.J's Quick Quilter Spoon. (Another facebook customer request.)  The slot in the back is deeper and slightly enlarged to a 3/4" gap.  This gives you a little extra storage space as seen here with the small rotary cutter. The slot was a 1/2" previously.  I most likely will roll out the 3/4" gap on all future caddies.  Another addition is the Thread Heaven holder. (Thank Nel on facebook.)  (I can make it with a Beeswax holder or a Thread Heaven holder. Just request it in the checkout "special instuctions" or email me.)  The back of the unit still has a magnet for pins and needles or any other gadget that sticks. Two thimble dowels are also installed on the base.  A tiny magnet is also located to the side of the Thread Heaven block. I thought this was a great spot to place your needle when you stop to apply wax.
