This travel size frame is for the rug hooker or quilter that works the frame and hoop extra hard. The base is constructed the same as our other styles, but the hoop has been upgraded to a Barnett's Custom 12" Hoop. In addition we have upgraded the bolt to 6 inches for those extra thick projects. Easy turn knob is also included. You will never have to worry about overworking the frame. 

If for any reason, you should crack the hoop, I will replace it for free.

This is our latest little frame.  It will collapse flat for easy storage.  It has been designed with 12 little magnets that tightly grip the legs and hoop in place on the lap base.  You definitely have fun working with this little frame and showing your friends!  Note:  This little travel frame will not attach to any of our lap bases.

• Adjustable Height - The floor stand has an adjustable height bar. The top frame will extend up to 38" in height.  Find the ideal height for sitting in your favorite chair and set the height with one Easy Turn Knob and bolt.
• Tilts & Spins - It has the same features as our other models that tilt and spin. One oversized knob adjusts the angle of the frame and a lazy susan spinner controls the rotation.
• Removeable - The top lap frame is removeable since we have installed a magnetic plate that attaches to the lazy susan spinner.
• Interchangeable - The frame is interchangeable with any other size Original Design, Vented or Rug Hooking lap frames that we sell. Pop off the top frame and pop on another size. (Other sizes sold seperately.)

If you purchased your Original Frame after 08/15/2011 this is the base you will need to make a Tilt & Spin Frame.  No tools needed and no assembly.  Just let those little magnets on the bottom of you frame clip on to the lazy susan.  It's that easy!

This is a modified Original 14" frame.  The bottom has been vented to lighten up the weight and allow any heat to "vent" off your lap.  Four magnets are installed on the bottom allowing you to use this frame with any of our unique bases that tilt and rotate.

Stuffing level can be easily adjusted by adding or subtracting the fill inside.  One center screw removes the top to gain access to the stuffing.  We use poly foam beads as fill but you could add popcorn or real beans if you ever wanted to add weight or extra stuffing.  Do not use Stove Top Stuffing unless it is the week of Thanksgiving.  (I just wanted to see who really reads the fine print. Ha Ha.)

Years ago I made an "Economy" frame and sold them on ebay and they sold very well. The problem I had with the old frames was securing a "good" quality hoop to install for the right price. Recently, I did purchase a close out deal on some 14" hoops and I thought I would revive the "Economy Laptop Hoop Frame". 

This little frame will function the same as our Original Design Frames but it will have some differences. 

• It is considerably lighter than the Original Frames since the base is only 1/8" thick vs. 1/2".
• The hoop is not as wide as the Edmund's Hoops that I typically install, but it is still strong.
• No magnets on the bottom! It will not be compatible with our Lap Bases that tilt & Spin. 
• The price is right!!! 

With all that said, this is an economy version of our laptop hoop and will be available for a limited time.  As with all of my designs, I will stand behind them for a 60 day return period for a full refund, except the shipping charges.
